Not necessarily. Most engagements come through an architect, and that is the cleanest path — but the firm is happy to receive an early enquiry and discuss the brief. Where an architect is not yet appointed, the firm can suggest two or three of its long-standing partners depending on the brief.
Single-family residential ground-ups form the core of the firm's work, alongside renovations and selective commercial projects taken on brief fit, not capacity. Smaller jobs are taken where the relationship is right; the firm has built houses across a wide range of scales in every decade of its working life.
Both. The firm runs its own workshop, where doors, windows, cabinetry, and furniture — chairs, tables, sofas, panelling, and trim — are built for each project. Pieces are made to the architect's drawing or the client's brief, and signed off by the principal before they leave the workshop. Standalone furniture commissions, outside of a building project, are taken selectively.
A quantity-based quote prepared from the architect's drawings — measured quantities, applied rates, contingency set out clearly. Where a complete design pack is available the figure is firm; where the brief is at concept stage a working range is offered, refined as the design develops.
South Delhi principally — Malviya Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Hauz Khas, GK, Saket, Sarvodaya Enclave, SDA. Gurgaon (DLF Phases 1–4 and Sector 23). Faridabad and Noida selectively. The firm has worked as far as Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad on commercial projects where the brief warranted it.
A residential ground-up of 3,000 – 5,000 sq ft built area runs eighteen to twenty-four months from mobilisation to keys, with a twelve-month defects-liability period thereafter. Renovations vary widely — from four months for a single-floor refresh to eighteen months for a full house. The programme is set with the architect at contract stage and reviewed fortnightly thereafter.
