Residential Building in DLF Phase 1

This 1992 residence marked P Kumar Associates' first commission in Gurgaon, built in DLF Phase 1 when the township was still in active development. Designed in collaboration with Pradeep Sharma & Associates — a partnership that would extend through Vasant Vihar and Geetanjali in the years that followed.

Early DLF Phase 1 construction sat at the front edge of Gurgaon's transformation from a peripheral district town into a residential alternative to South Delhi. The infrastructure, neighbourhood character, and construction conditions of the early 1990s site bore little resemblance to the city Gurgaon would become twenty years later.

Executed by P Kumar Associates as the principal contractor — full scope of civil works, finishing, and handover.
