Residential Building at Poorvi Marg, Vasant Vihar

The 40 Poorvi Marg commission represents the largest project in P Kumar Associates' 1990s portfolio, a 1996 Vasant Vihar residence at a scale beyond any of the firm's earlier residential work. Designed in collaboration with Pradeep Sharma & Associates.

Vasant Vihar in the mid-1990s was, and remains, among South Delhi's most established premium residential addresses, large plots, mature streetscape, diplomatic and senior-civil-service neighbours. A project of this scale at this address signalled the firm's transition from a Malviya Nagar residential builder into a practice working at the upper end of the Delhi market.

Executed by P Kumar Associates as the principal contractor, full scope of civil works, finishing, and handover.
